International Land Group / Featured Work / Exterior
Design study for proposed private residence, Point Grey, Vancouver, BC.
Working from architectural sketches and landscape modelling information LNG Studios created simple renderings to show design ideas and light studies. The design study paid heed to considerable environmental, neighbourhood and material contexts.
These renderings were able to communicate valuable design ideas and languages to the architect and their client.

International Land Group / Case Study / Interior
Overview
International Land Group contacted LNG Studios in 2010 to create a series of high quality photorealistic 3D renderings for their new project in the heart of San Francisco. This very unique project involves the restoration and conversion of a space previously occupied by a restaurant into two high-end modern designer apartments.
Challenges
The primary challenge presented is the client’s request to maintain visual authenticity throughout the rendering presentation. As the project is situated within a historic building many period elements such as crown-molding, fireplaces and wall sconces had to be created. These original elements were originally hand milled requiring LNG Studios to focus a great deal of attention to reference photographs of these details. These designs were carefully copied so they could be accurately modeled and reproduced.
With respect to style LNG Studios also focused on creating and custom modeling a considerable amount of furniture and fixtures necessary to create the bespoke final representation.
Summary
LNG Studios renderings for 1001 California Street provided valuable design feedback to the architect and construction principals. This enabled the work to continue efficiently and within the constraints of the restoration timetable. Our renderings are a key aspect of the marketing strategy for 1001 California St and the quality and design of the images reflects the high-end nature of the project.
