Overview
Concord Pacific required a set of detailed renders for their latest project in Richmond, BC. LNG Studios worked with the development and construction team for many weeks behind the scenes assisting with design applications and pre-visualisation tools.  Eventually these images would form the ground work for the final images which were refreshed and utilized extensively in the sales and marketing of the project including a dedicated television spot.

Challenges
This project tied many elements together. From the developers own construction management team including WTLeung architects as well as their interior design specialists and material suppliers all the way through to specific construction tradespeople and marketing and sales professionals.

Together we orchestrated the overall design and theme which was then rendered in low resolution for preview, feedback and material study before creating the final compositions in high resolution. This project required extensive research, photography and material scans in order to create the correct mood and effect and we created several day/night transitions for each angle.

Summary
As a world-renowned developer of the highest calibre Concord Pacific invokes the best standards in trades and construction persons.  As a tribute to these professionals our 3D renderings must invoke the same high standard of expectation.  While taking many weeks to complete, the project was an exciting window into the development, design and construction process for a major developer. For LNG Studios it's a tremendous mark of respect to be invited to be a part of this process and our work reflects carefully the scope of such a project.

Overview
Property Solutions serves hundreds of property rental companies across North America, providing management software and assistance.  Property Solutions required a solution to quickly and accurately provide 3D floor plans for their clients in support of their marketing efforts.  Since 2010 LNG Studios has an ongoing relationship to provide 3D floor plans for thousands of properties for rent and sale.

Challenges
Property Solutions needed a scaleable solution that fit with the requirements for their clients. LNG Studios standardized a template and worked with Property Solutions to create a client order form whereby design criteria could be specified by the client before starting.  This workflow enabled LNG Studios to quickly and accurately supply very large volume orders simultaneously.

Summary
Property Solutions and their clients are extremely happy with the floorplans provided and the quality of the renderings. Overall we’ve raised the bar for property rental marketing and introduced a new standard in imaging. The 3D floor plans provide a very accurate guide to prospective rental tenants allowing them to visualize an apartment much more accurately than from a 2D floor plan.

Overview
International Land Group contacted LNG Studios in 2010 to create a series of high quality photorealistic 3D renderings for their new project in the heart of San Francisco.  This very unique project involves the restoration and conversion of a space previously occupied by a restaurant into two high-end modern designer apartments.

Challenges
The primary challenge presented is the client’s request to maintain visual authenticity throughout the rendering presentation.  As the project is situated within a historic building many period elements such as crown-molding, fireplaces and wall sconces had to be created. These original elements were originally hand milled requiring LNG Studios to focus a great deal of attention to reference photographs of these details.  These designs were carefully copied so they could be accurately modeled and reproduced.

With respect to style LNG Studios also focused on creating and custom modeling a considerable amount of furniture and fixtures necessary to create the bespoke final representation.

Summary
LNG Studios renderings for 1001 California Street provided valuable design feedback to the architect and construction principals. This enabled the work to continue efficiently and within the constraints of the restoration timetable.  Our renderings are a key aspect of the marketing strategy for 1001 California St and the quality and design of the images reflects the high-end nature of the project.

Overview
Concord Pacific required high resolution images as part of the planning stages of their Park Place development in York, Ontario. The project required LNG Studios to work with reference images and Concord Pacific's planing department to detail design specifications but also assist with the overall design and priority of the complete master-planned design.

Challenges
As the 2nd largest master-planned community in Ontario after Concord Pacific's own downtown Adex development, working with a design that represents the massive overall scale of the development was an enormous challenge. This project required detailed instructions and close contact with Concord own planning department in Toronto as well as their marketing and logistics staff in Vancouver.  The goal of the project in addition was a design summary to help reflect the developers overall goal and design. This required taking detailed notes and conceptual sketches that would be included in the final design.

Summary
Though grand in scale this project was completed extremely timely.  LNG Studios supplied numerous images and the entire project was modelled rendered, conceptualized within two weeks.  A timely delivery that assisted Concord with their civic development application but also was instrumental in conveying design ideas and themes.

Overview
Maine, USA based Cottage Advisors enjoys an enviable position as a premium supplier of seasonal cottage resort style properties. With several seasonal developments spread across the eastern seaboard of the United States and several projects in Canada, LNG Studios was humbled to be asked a 2nd time to supply high quality exterior animations of the cottage properties.

Challenges
Summer Village is a large-scale seasonal resort community project located in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. The project required creating a 3D flyover of the entire site showcasing the landscape, views and arrangement of cottages and amenity buildings.  Due to the physical size of the site LNG Studios designers focused great attention to studying land surveys and topographical information to accurately create an accurate terrain model sloping gently towards the lake front.  In addition using high resolution mapping software our designers were able to accurately recreate the lake front vista and accompanying details.

The scope of the project also required accurately modeling the different options of cottages available featuring one and two bedroom cottages as well as the restaurant, general store, community centre and auxiliary buildings that complete the site

Summary
The 3D animation features extensively in the sales and marketing strategy for Summer Village. In addition to featuring as part of the main sales and presentation centre on site, Cottage Advisors have made great use of this video as part of their social media campaign including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accruing over 10,000 hits.

Overview Grace-Rise Enterprises asked LNG Studios to create a specific character animation for their UpPotential project.  The UpPotential project is unique health program intended for a Chinese audience.  The character of Little Po is a guide throughout the program, a reflection of the ideas and motifs being put forward.

Challenges Creating an accurate set of character animations that met the expectations of the end user and fulfilled the guide role was challenging. Knowing that the project would require multiple poses LNG Studios designers worked initially on concept drawings with the client to establish a general theme and design.  The Little Po character was then created in XSI with multiple rigging points so that the torso, arms legs, hands and head could be easily manipulated into various poses and emotions.  As the UpPotential project deals with specific forms of health care the ability to create accurate emotions from the Little Po character was a necessity. In addition LNG Studios’ designers were able create an accompanying suite of props that fit with the mandate of each required pose.

Summary Even though the design is simple the themes are easily visually conveyed.  The final result not only met but exceeded our client’s expectations.  Little Po was so successful that our client was able to not only capitalize on the character but has since gone on to pursue merchandising, a song and figurine characters.

Overview
Real Storage, one of Canada’s largest storage service providers asked LNG Studios to create realistic day and night time renderings of their proposed development in Abbortsford, BC, Canada.

Challenges
From the outset the intention was to create a series of day and night images that showed the design of the facility as well as the unique lighting scheme.  As many Real Storage locations operate 24 hours a day it was important to show the proposed development in the most accurate context as possible.

Rendering the image in both day and night variations required an extensive lighting study to calculate the lighting design and model in addition to showcasing this within the correct ambient light context.

Summary
The renderings produced by LNG Studios proved an invaluable tool for design feedback as well as civic submissions for the development. The final rendering accurately portrayed the overall design of the building but also help carry forward a correct mood in context.

Overview
Prospero International Group approached LNG Studios about a particular site located on West Broadway street in Vancouver BC.  The site was unique owing to its enviable location but also because it was currently occupied by a low-rise building.  Prospero International Group was interested in showing a proposed tower development on the site but didn’t wanted to ensure visual continuity between the sites present outlook with the proposed development.

Challenges
Starting with high-resolution reference images of the site taken at street level, LNG Studios designers set about building the tower in 3D and blending the 3D image into the original reference photograph. The building design was developed in conjunction with Prospero International Group using visual references and design cues from similar developments.  Despite there being no architectural or engineering files LNG Studios was still able to produce our own 3D model from scratch which could be adjusted and designed to suit the client’s tastes. Once the model was approved the 3D and 2D elements were blended together to create the final montage.  3D vehicles, foot traffic and lighting completed the final scene.
